This is a high-end boat that offers the experience of driving a yacht, 523 RS DC is definitely worth the price, especially if you are looking for an adventure on the water.  The South Bay 500 Series 523 RS DC Pontoon Boat has enough space to accommodate up to 13 people and it comes with a lot of features that make it easy to use.

It also has a lot of safety features like a fuel tank guard, bow and stern rails, and a built-in GPS. It also comes at a price tag of $85,000+, but as I’ve said, it’s worth the investment.

Can accommodate enough people

It’s a great option for families since it can carry up to 13 passengers comfortably. No one will feel cramped in this boat due to the space it comes with, it also has a swim deck which is quite large.

Enough accessories

It comes with accessories like a touchscreen display, ski tow bar, fishing station, and rod holders. For even more convenience, it also comes with a radio that is compatible with any Bluetooth device. This is a great boat for fishing enthusiasts; it has all the features you would expect to find in a boat like this

Our verdict

Nothing to hate about the 500 Series 523 RS DC Pontoon Boat, except that we feel it should be longer than it is. But it has enough space to relax during your day on the sea.

What We Love About The 500 Series 523 RS DC Pontoon Boat

  • The interior is really beautiful, the tinted windscreen and the helm’s dual-fiberglass add a great look to the boat. You will experience maximum comfort with the four lounges it comes with.
  • It’s equipped with a high-performance engine which is a 3.0 performance package, and a fast Yamaha 200 engine.
  • You get plenty of storage under the seat and it should be enough to carry all your stuff.

Some Improvements Needed

  • With the price tag it comes with, it should be able to carry more people, 13 people isn’t enough for such a price in our perspective.
  • The swim deck makes the pontoon look or feel cramped, it’s a nice feature though to most people.
